Power Integrity (PI) Analysis
Power Integrity analysis has grown into a critical step in PCB validation prior to releasing your Gerbers to the fab. Whether it’s IR Drop, Power Distribution Networks or IC Switching noise these are not simple to review with the increased density, layer counts, number of voltage rails and their reduced voltage levels.
With principal VCCs around 1 Volt and current demands in Amps IR drop can be significant if power plane splits and pours aren’t carefully constructed. If your design requires multiple voltage supplies, increased density, and a budget that only supports first-time success, you’ll be wise to engage ProDigiSys to review your PCB’s Power Integrity.

Signal Integrity Analysis
With today’s advances in IC technology it’s not uncommon to find edge rates less than 1ns. While these may not be considered by all engineers to be high speed, in reality the edge rates of signals at 100 MHz or 200 MHz can cause signal integrity issues.
PDS has consulted on numerous digital system designs, providing design guidance and signal integrity simulation services using HyperLynx. HyperLynx is a suite of software tools by Mentor Graphics that eliminate signal integrity, crosstalk, and EMC problems early in the design cycle.
